Alfredo Sandes joined Advent in 2014. Previously, he was an investment professional at 2bCapital, a Brazilian private equity firm focused on services and consumer goods. Prior to that, Alfredo was a co-founder of Geekie, a startup that develops educational technology solutions. He worked in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs, where he participated in deals in various sectors. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Alfredo worked in the Equity Research Division of Credit Suisse. Alfredo is a CFA Charterholder and holds a BSc degree in Electrical Engineering, with honors, from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica and a master’s degree in Learning, Design and Technology from Stanford University. During his academic trajectory Alfredo received awards from Lemann Foundation, Fundação Estudar and Roberto Rocca Foundation.
