Bio

Alessandro Benetton founded 21 Invest in 1992 and is a pioneer in the Italian private equity market. Since 2022 he is Chairman of Edizione SpA, one of the main European industrial holding companies. Cavaliere del Lavoro, he graduated cum laude from Boston University and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. After an experience as an analyst in the London office of Goldman Sachs, he served as Chairman of the Benetton Formula1 Racing Team, leading the team to obtain two world drivers titles and a constructors' title. As President of the Cortina 2021 Foundation he led the organization of the Alpine Ski World Championships.
