As a member of the firm’s Securitization practice group, he represents issuers, credit enhancers, liquidity providers and conduit and other purchasers in domestic and international financings involving the securitization of a wide range of financial assets. For example, he advises institutional purchasers, multi-seller commercial paper conduit purchasers, investment banks and issuers in connection with the issuance of or investment in asset-backed securities involving numerous asset types, including credit card receivables, trade receivables, automobile, aircraft, equipment and other loans and leases, mortgages, insurance premium financings and collateralized debt obligations. George also advises numerous foreign and domestic banking organizations on secured and unsecured lending transactions and project financings, as providers of credit enhancement and in other capital markets activities. He has advised major European banks in formation of bank-administered domestic and foreign commercial paper conduits and other financial institutions in various roles in tax-exempt financings, including as credit and liquidity providers in transactions supported by pools of loans or equipment leases. Lenders routinely turn to George for his experience in connection with secured and unsecured credit facilities, including multi-currency facilities; various project financings involving, inter alia, co-generation projects and wind and other alternative energy sources; and direct financings to hospital systems and other healthcare providers, and much more.
