Z. Alex Zhang serves as the head of White & Case's operation in China as well as the firm's China corporate and M&A practice. Having spent 30 years advising US, European and Asian clients on all types of cross-border corporate transactions in China, as well as Chinese private and state-owned companies in their investments, acquisitions and other business activities outside China, he is recognized as a leading lawyer for China-related corporate, private equity and M&A transactions. He has been named as the leading practitioner in these areas of work by Chambers Asia, PLC Which Lawyer and Asia Pacific Legal 500. In 2021, Alex was recognized as one of Legal 500 Asia-Pacific’s Hall of Fame individuals for Corporate and M&A in China.
