VÃt Stehlik practices in the areas of energy law, construction (including EPC and EPCM contracts) and M&A. His significant track record and reputation in these fields has attracted major domestic and multinational clients, often operating within the energy sector. These include the two largest energy companies in the Czech Republic, ÄŒEZ and the RWE Group, both of which he regularly advises on a broad range of general, energy and project-related legal issues in multiple CEE jurisdictions, including Slovakia, Bulgaria, Romania, Montenegro, Macedonia, and Bosnia Herzegovina. VÃt's significant practice experience has given him a thorough grasp of the full spectrum of legal challenges faced by energy clients, from the successful execution of major M&A deals, to an array of complex regulatory matters, as well as the development, financing and documentation of international construction projects. VÃt's skill in navigating the legal intricacies of large-scale, cross-border transactions has been demonstrated by his involvement in a number of ground breaking deals, both within the Czech Republic and across Europe. These include the representation of RWE AG, a leading European electricity and gas company, in connection with the sale of its 100 percent share in NET4GAS, the Czech gas transmission system operator (TSO), to a consortium of Allianz and Borealis Infrastructure for close to €1.6 billion. VÃt also regularly advises energy companies in connection with various regulatory requirements, defined at both the national and European levels. Matters regarding which he has provided advisory services include the unbundling-driven corporate restructuring of ÄŒEZ group, RWE and the Bulgarian Energy Holding. VÃt brings insight and experience to the array of complex legal issues involved in large-scale construction projects. His significant reputation in this field has led to his involvement in numerous major Czech and international enterprises, including the 160 km gas Gazelle pipeline in the Czech Republic, a continuation of the Nord Stream and Opal transmission lines.
