A partner in the Firm's M&A and Energy group, Thomas Burmeister practice has a particular focus on energy-related transactions and the regulatory aspects of the value chain, including contract law, grid regulation and renewables. In addition to advising clients out of court, he has also represented them in numerous legal disputes in front of authorities and courts. Prior to joining White & Case, Thomas worked as a partner for another leading international law firm in Düsseldorf for several years. He also gained valuable experience working on secondment at a major German power supply company.
