Anthony Vasey has a broad range of experience in corporate transactions, including public and private mergers and acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, reorganizations, equity capital markets, private equity and capital raisings. A partner in the Firm's Global Mergers & Acquisitions Practice, he has been based in Hong Kong since 2012. Anthony regularly advises on complex cross-border transactions. Notable recent deals include the acquisition by MMG Limited and an MMG-led consortium, of the Las Bambas copper project in Peru. This deal won ALB China Law’s "2015 Energy & Resources Deal of the Year", American Lawyer's "2014 Global M&A Deal of the Year, Latin America/Peru", China Business Law Journal's "2014 Deal of the Year" and Latin Lawyer's "2014 M&A Deal of the Year". Prior to joining White & Case in August 2010, Anthony trained at a leading UK law firm in London and subsequently spent six years as an associate in its corporate department, including secondments to overseas offices in Germany and Hong Kong.
