Mark Galazzi is a partner based in Walkers' London office where he is a member of the firm's Global Finance and Corporate Groups. Mark has extensive experience in advising on both Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands laws, and has a strong international practice that covers a broad range of finance and corporate transactions, including domestic and cross-border as well as restructuring and insolvency matters. Regularly advising on lending and security transactions he focuses on leveraged and acquisition finance, debt and equity finance, asset finance, structured finance, project finance, capital markets and general corporate lending, as well as advising on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, shareholder arrangements, issues as to the perfection and granting of security by Cayman Islands or BVI vehicles, the charging of shares in a Cayman Islands or BVI company group, re-organisations and corporate restructurings. Mark has previously spent time in Walkers' Jersey office, is a member of both the Walkers' India Group and Walkers London headquartered Russia & CIS Group (a dedicated team of lawyers who provide British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Jersey, Channel Islands and Irish law services to clients based in Russia and across Central & Eastern Europe), and is also a member of the Walkers dedicated Maritime Finance Group.
