Davide Jermini is a partner at Walder Wyss and heads the Lugano office. He mainly works in the areas of commercial and corporate law, M&A (particularly real estate transactions) and general banking and finance law (including regulatory aspects). His other areas of activity include employment law and corporate succession planning. He regularly represents the interests of Swiss subsidiaries of international groups and banks, both in an advisory and forensic capacity. His strong business background allows him to deeply understand the commercial needs of his clients. Davide Jermini is a member of the Legal Advisory Board of the Centro di Studi Bancari, Lugano. Davide Jermini, born in 1968, studied economics at the University of St. Gallen (lic. oec. HSG, 1992) and law at the University of Basel (lic. iur., 1995; magna cum laude). In 1999 he was entered in the Ticino lawyers' register and in 2000 he obtained the Ticino notary's license. He has been a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) since June 2016. He joined Walder Wyss in 2013 after initially working for a leading international law firm in Zurich for 5 years and then for 8 years as a partner in law firms based in Zurich and Lugano. He lectures and publishes regularly in his areas of expertise. Davide Jermini is recognized by Chambers as a recognized practitioner in real estate law. Davide Jermini is fluent in Italian, German, English and French. He is registered in the Canton of Ticino's register of lawyers and holds the Ticino notary's license.
