Jeffery Burton Floyd concentrates his practice on mergers and acquisitions, shareholder activism, contests for control, and corporate governance. He has worked extensively on public mergers and acquisitions, including those involving publicly traded partnerships. For more than 30 years, Jeff has represented public and private companies as well as private investment companies and investment banking firms in a diverse range of industries, including energy and oilfield services, retail, finance, technology and software, health care, and construction. Jeff is co-head of V&E’s Shareholder Activism Practice.
