Timothy C. Atkins is a partner in the Commercial Department in the Berwyn office of Pepper Hamilton LLP. He concentrates his practice in the representation of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, computer and other high technology companies with a particular emphasis on corporate transactions and intellectual property transactions. Mr. Atkins counsels a wide range of businesses, from startups and smaller, venture capital-backed businesses to publicly traded, global businesses in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors on corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions and financing matters, as well as the acquisition, protection, commercialization and disposition of intellectual property assets. He also has represented various universities in technology transfer transactions, many of which have involved licensing of pharmaceutical compounds and related patents and equity transactions.
