Don has more than two decades of experience representing debtors, creditors’ committees, directors and officers, employees, litigants, and other parties-in-interest in complex Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases. In addition to his bankruptcy experience, Don has successfully litigated, tried (jury and non-jury), and defended several complex commercial litigation and product liability cases in the state and federal courts of Delaware. Don has served as counsel to numerous Chapter 11 debtors and creditors’ committees in several business segments, including manufacturing, retail, telecommunications, ethanol, apparel, pharmaceuticals, insurance and finance, specialty products marketing and distribution, and printing. He has been recognized for his bankruptcy practice in Delaware Super Lawyers magazine, Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business, and Best Lawyers in America. Dedicated to bar and community activities, Don is a member of both the American and Delaware State Bar Associations and the American Bankruptcy Institute, and is a bencher of the Richard S. Rodney Delaware Bankruptcy Inn of Court. In addition, he serves on the board of Supporting KIDDS, Inc., one of the first organizations in the country to address the unique needs of bereaved children.
