Kunaal Shah is a Partner in Trilegal’s Mumbai office and is a part of the Corporate practice group. Kunaal’s primary practice areas are mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity investments, real estate and finance transactions. Kunaal advises international and domestic clients on their joint ventures and investments in India. His role involves managing title diligences, structuring investments, managing deals, drafting, reviewing and negotiating transaction documents. Kunaal advises on a wide range of general corporate matters as well. He has experience in high-value complex litigation involving offshore and domestic loans and bonds, and debt restructuring. He handles such litigation at the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts, the erstwhile Company Law Board, National Company Law Tribunal and the Securities Appellate Tribunal. His specialisations cover enforcement actions, recovery proceedings, shareholder disputes, insolvency and bankruptcy proceedings, and arbitrations.
