He specialises in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, group reorganisations and advising on general aspects of company law. James Webb has particular experience in the leisure sectors, advising a wide range of clients from owner managed businesses to international corporates. He has recently advised on the sale of Fitness First, Mobile Windscreens Limited (a member of the National Windscreens Consortium), Edenhall Group, Francis Flower, Bart Ingredients and the Bandvulc Group. Clients have commented that James is a "polished negotiator" and a "pleasure to work with". In 2018 James was awarded 'Young Dealmaker of the Year' at the Insider South West Dealmakers Awards. He is also listed as a key lawyer in Legal 500, an independent guide to the legal profession.
