He is an experienced corporate partner who specialises in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, group reorganisations and demergers. Andrew Webber works with clients across multiple sectors, including regularly the retail and consumer goods and leisure sectors, having advised international corporates, management teams and investors on strategic acquisitions and significant sale processes. He is well-respected for his technical expertise and his experience in managing complex deals through to a successful completion. Andrew joined the firm in 1999 and was promoted to partner in 2008. He was awarded Young Dealmaker of the Year at the 2008 Insider South West Dealmakers Awards and he led on the sale of Stirling Dynamics to Assystem Technologies for Endless and management, which was named deal of the year at the 2018 Insider South West Dealmakers awards. In 2020 he became head of Corporate at TLT. Andrew is independently recognised as a notable practitioner in Corporate/M&A law by Chambers UK – a guide to the legal profession, with one client describing him as "a really slick operator." He also draws praise for his "commercial and friendly" approach.
