Tor Bechmann works primarily with transactions and company law matters, such as business start-ups, investments, sales and acquisitions, mergers and demergers, restructuring, capital raising and refinancing. He has many years of experience as a consultant in national and international corporate transactions. He has also worked extensively with commercial negotiations and agreements of various kinds, as well as preventive advice, "the art of owning a company together" and handling shareholder conflicts. Bechmann regularly gives lectures on company law topics, and has on a number of occasions been a lecturer for other lawyers and jurists at the Company Law Conference and Advokatenes Fagdager. He is a member of the Norwegian Bar Association's law committee for company law and the Professional Committee for Company Law in the Lawyers' Education Center (JUS). He holds several board positions, including in Nordkinn Asset Management AB, NRP Procurator AS, BTIG Norway AS, Tellus Caravan and Fritid AS and Proff1 Norge AS. Bechmann is a member of the Norwegian Association of Financial Analysts. Before Tenden, Bechmann has a background from the law firm Wikborg, Rein & Co., Oslo Børs and PricewaterhouseCoopers (Oslo and London).
