Elie Sprung is the head of the firm’s Hi-Tech and Venture Capital Practice Group. Consistently ranked in the global legal directories, Chambers Global recently dubbed Elie "an excellent lawyer", praising "his knowledge, experience and constructive approach to the work." His client base includes venture capital funds and accelerators. he focuses on representing entrepreneurs, hi-tech companies, investors (venture capital, corporate and angels) and acquirers in an array of industries (including Internet, mobile, cyber, fintech, bio-tech and medical devices, media and big data). Elie has extensive experience in representing his clients in financings, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property and commercial transactions and agreements as well as assisting in the day to day operations of a company, with his practice spanning the entire life cycle of emerging growth companies. In his almost two decades of experience, Elie has represented hundreds of clients assisting many technology driven ventures and investors, from the early stages of development through their growth and exit transactions. Elie has participated in committees advising the Knesset (Israel’s parliament), serves as a mentor to start-ups and entrepreneurs, and has lectured on various issues related to the hi-tech field in international conferences, academic institutions as well as meet-ups and accelerators. Prior to joining the firm, Elie was a corporate attorney at the Kansas City offices of Husch Blackwell LLP, and before that was a senior associate at the boutique hi-tech firm of Ori Rosen & Co. and in the international corporate department of Yigal Arnon & Co.
