Vitor Arantes has extensive legal experience focused on capital markets, securitization transaction, and public offerings of securities, including shares and quotas of structured investment funds. In addition, Vitor also deals with corporate law and M&A. Mr. Arantes has participated in several relevant market transactions, such as public offerings of shares (IPO and follow on), debentures, promissory notes, quotas of investment fund, certificates of real estate receivables, certificates of agribusiness receivables, among other securities. Within all these transactions, Vitor advised financial institutions, private equity funds, portfolio managers and national and foreign companies. Before joining Souza Mello e Torres, Vitor worked for over 10 years with M&A, corporate law and capital markets. For almost 4 years he worked in the legal department of Tecnisa S.A. and he also worked for more than 6 years in large law firms in Brazil. Education: Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie (LL.B), Fundação Getúlio Vargas (LL.M) and Greystone College (Specialization in International Business Management).
