Nikhil has extensive experience of 11 years, in advising leading venture capital and private equity funds and multi-national corporations for transactions inter-alia in the sectors of Manufacturing, IT, Healthcare, Gaming, Fintech, Pharmaceutical, Media & Entertainment, E-Commerce, Retail & Wholesale Trading, Infrastructure, Renewal Energy, Publishing, Real Estate, Travel & Tourism and NBFC. Nikhil has significant experience in advising on inter-alia mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity investments, venture capital (equity and debt) investments, business/asset transfer transactions, consortium lending, structured finance transactions, corporate debt restructuring and external commercial borrowing (ECB) transactions. He also specialises in structuring transactions to ensure compliance with foreign exchange regulations, corporate laws and tax efficiency based on appropriate advice from tax advisors. Prior to joining Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, Nikhil has worked with BMR Legal, J. Sagar Associates and Desai & Diwanji.
