Ambarish clients have included sovereign wealth funds, private equity investors, strategic foreign investors, and Indian corporations, in complex mergers and acquisitions. In the last few years Ambarish has advised on transactions worth over USD 10 Billion. Ambarish also advises board of directors and senior management on corporate governance, and high-risk matters. Ambarish has been a key member of the team advising the Government of India on some of the key legislations and regulations, including drafting of the mining sector regulations, and matters related to the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016. In 2016, Ambarish was seconded by the Firm to Mitsui & Co., Ltd at Tokyo, for a year, where he was working with the Asia Pacific Legal Department. Ambarish graduated law school near the top of his class, joined the Firm as an associate, and became a partner in April 2018. At the Firm Ambarish also contributes to training program for associates.
