For nearly 20 years, I have worked primarily with issues linked to intellectual property law and commercial transactions, and with technology-intensive companies and their legal issues in general. In my role as managing partner of the Malmö office, I share in the responsibility for Setterwalls as a whole, and its day-to-day activities. At the same time, I have national responsibility for and lead Setterwalls’ Life Sciences team, and am in the same way responsible for trademark and marketing law issues. I am experienced at handling legal proceedings where issues are dealt with in several jurisdictions in parallel. Sectors where I have particularly relevant experience include pharmaceuticals and medical technology, foods and high-technology companies in general. My experience as general counsel at a Swedish listed company in the biometrics sector has given me valuable insights into the needs of clients, from the client’s viewpoint. Commercial contracts, including those in an international environment, constitute an exciting and stimulating part of my everyday work. I regard understanding the client’s business and goals as necessary for being able to deliver concrete and pragmatic advice. All in.
