Bio

Brian Miner is co-chair of the M&A and Securities Group. He concentrates his practice in private equity transactions and mergers and acquisitions, advising public and private companies and private equity firms. Brian has substantial experience across a broad range of sectors, including asset management, financial services, life sciences and healthcare, energy and manufacturing. In particular, his private equity experience includes advising clients on acquisitions and dispositions of interests in alternative asset management firms, including structuring, negotiating and executing minority investments in private equity fund managers. Brian has been recognized as a leading private equity lawyer by The Legal 500, who described him as a “very strong tactician.” He is a faculty member of the Practising Law Institute, where he has served as the chair and regular panelist for the seminar “Acquiring or Selling the Privately Held Company” since 2012.
