Jeeta Nayak is a corporate and commercial transactions lawyer with over 12 years of experience. She specialises in Private Equity and M&A transactions (both private and listed M&A), and general corporate advisory matters. Jeeta focuses on strategic investments and divestments/ exits, spanning a broad range of industries/ businesses including construction development, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, insurance, FMCG, e-commerce, logistics, infrastructure and power (both renewable and non-renewable), and has advised marquee private equity investors and promoter groups and companies across jurisdictions including U.S., Canada, Europe (UK, France and Germany), Singapore and Japan. She also advises on banking and finance, including project finance transactions, and regulatory matters and represents clients before regulatory authorities including the Reserve Bank of India and the Securities Appellate tribunal. Prior to joining Samvad Jeeta was associated with Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Mumbai (formerly Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A. Shroff & Co.) for over 9 years, and with AZB & Partners, Mumbai for 3 years. Jeeta holds a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) degree from National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata (2008) and a Diploma in PGPM (Finance, Strategy and Leadership) from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad (2012). She is admitted to practice law in India and a member of the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa. Apart from law, Jeeta is an avid technology and gadgets enthusiast, loves to read and travel.
