Ronald B. Goodman is the Firm's Managing Partner and has been a member of the Firm's Litigation & ADR Department since 1987. Mr. Goodman is an AV rated attorney by Martindale- Hubbell, the highest rating available to attorneys. Mr. Goodman’s practice includes complex civil litigation, including enforcement of secured transactions and asset-based lending agreements, and also has extensive experience in the acquisition of petroleum transport terminals and assets pertaining thereto, as well as the regulatory requirements in connection with the trucking industry. He has acted as General Counsel to petroleum transport companies. Mr. Goodman is a member of the Panel of the American Arbitration Association and has served as an arbitrator and mediator in connection with numerous controversies. Mr. Goodman has a diversified practice from his experience as serving as outside general counsel to corporations is many fields of endeavor. He advises clients in a wide variety of matters including real estate, estate planning on personal and business related matters and corporate transactions of every nature. Mr. Goodman has been a contributor to the New York Oil Heating Association newsletters and has further acted as a consultant to leading insurance companies with regard to defense litigation in connection with petroleum transportation liabilities. Mr. Goodman has acted as counsel and consultant to many different clients in industries that service the New York City metropolitan area, including fashion, construction, furniture, fixtures and equipment, petroleum transport, real estate, publishing, financial institutions, etc.
