Jean Paul Farah Chajin has more than 25 years of recognized experience representing leading international banks and export credit agencies in financings, refinancings and restructurings for numerous private and public sector entities in the energy, telecommunications, consumer, real estate and housing sectors, among others. His M&A practice involves representing private equity firms in their equity and mezzanine investments in Mexico. Jean Paul has participated in a wide array of financing transactions involving CFE, PEMEX, Fibra Uno, Grupo Gigante and Prumex, as well as in several project financings including Ramones Sur, Ramones Norte and GICSA. He has been highlighted by transactions such as the refinancing of PEMEX’s debt. He worked as a foreign associate at Uría Menéndez, Madrid (1997) and at Shearman & Sterling, New York (1998).
