Bio

William Pappas provides results-oriented corporate counsel to national and international clients in the life sciences, manufacturing, pharmaceutical-related, health care, and investment industries. He guides clients in various business and transactional matters that include corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, business investments and expansions, and stock and asset purchases and sales. In addition, he has substantial experience representing both domestic and foreign business entities in their private investments in the United States and abroad, including corporate relocation and expansion projects, as well as corporate finance and lending transactions. Bill currently serves as general counsel to the North Carolina Biotechnology Center, the leading catalyst for North Carolina's life sciences industry. He also leads Parker Poe's Life Sciences Industry Team. He recently completed a six-year term on the firm's board of directors.
