Bio

Steve is a business-minded attorney with broad-based corporate law and business management expertise. Since graduating from Georgetown University Law Center, Steve has dedicated his career to building successful businesses. He regularly advises companies and investors on mid-market merger and acquisition (M&A) transactions, corporate finance, intellectual property, and general corporate matters. Steve also has experience advising clients with respect to exit strategies, business development and structuring complex business deals. Prior to Osborn McDerby, Steve was General Counsel and Vice President, Business Development of venture-backed health software company CoreMD. Prior to that, Steve built a strong legal foundation at top international law firms, representing clients such as Motorola, Nokia, Yahoo!, Essex Property Trust and Citibank. Steve has successfully managed complex business transactions in more than 20 countries throughout Asia, Europe, North America, the Middle East and Africa. Steve’s global experience includes living and practicing law in three financial centers: San Francisco/Silicon Valley, London and Hong Kong. Throughout his legal career, Steve has worked and lived in three financial centers: Silicon Valley, Hong Kong, and London. Steve is a native of San Francisco and graduate of St. Ignatius High School. He spends his free time in the summer wearing orange pants and cheering on the San Francisco Giants. In the winter, you will find Steve catching an occasional downhill edge and then enjoying après-ski with his wife Meredith and three children.
