Charles Wry serves as outside general counsel to private, U.S.-based operating companies and investment funds. The operating companies Chip represents are engaged in a wide range of businesses and include investor-funded companies, family-owned companies, employee-owned companies, and U.S. subsidiaries of foreign parents. The investment funds he represents include private equity funds, funds of funds, venture funds, and real estate funds. Chip is a member of the Firm’s corporate department and leads the Firm’s tax and private funds practices. He served for many years on the Firm’s Management, Compensation, Associate-Paralegal (Chair) and Marketing Committees.
