Dan Coppel is a partner of Morrison & Foerster LLP, based in the London office. With more than 20 years of experience, including leading on several landmark transactions, his practice focuses on cross border private M&A, private equity and joint venture deals and restructurings. Mr. Coppel’s experience spans a number of industry sectors including technology, manufacturing, energy and natural resources. He is recognized by Chambers for mergers and acquisitions work under English law, private equity transactions, and for energy and natural resources work in Russia and the CIS. He is also recommended by PLC, International Financial Law Review, and The Legal 500 for mergers and acquisitions. His clients include Mittal Investments, Phenomen Ventures, Oasis Beverages, Elbrus Capital and the Louwman Group. Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Mr. Coppel was a partner at an international law firm. He has previously practiced law in Moscow and New York and is qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales.
