Mr. Besa is mainly dedicated to commercial, financial and foreign investment matters. His experience covers mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and a broad range of financial transactions, especially project finance. Mr. Besa was formerly with KPMG Peat Marwick where he practiced for approximately two years in the taxation area. He has co-authored “Public Works Concessions in Chile”, published in The International Construction Law Review (1998), and “A History and Future Outlook on Chilean Banking and Financial Regulation” published in Inside the Minds, Banking and Finance Client Strategies in Central and South America, Aspatore. He is an active member of the Bar Association in Chile and both the Chilean-French and the Chilean-British Chambers of Commerce.
