Ryan Gelbart is a Partner and Chair of Minden Gross LLP’s Business Law Group. He has a broad corporate and commercial practice with a particular emphasis on commercial finance and private business transactions. As part of his financing practice, Ryan acts regularly for both lenders and borrowers on a wide range of transactions often involving complex lending structures and multiple jurisdictions. These include asset based lending, mezzanine financing, real estate financing, wholesale automotive financing, securitization, and project financing. In his private business practice, Ryan assists his clients with corporate reorganizations, advises them on private equity investments (both investor and target), and works with them through all stages of the purchase or sale of a business. Ryan also works frequently with start-ups, is experienced with shareholder/partnership disputes and is skilled in the negotiation and drafting of various types of commercial contracts.
