David Judson is a Partner in our Business Law and Securities and Capital Markets Groups focusing on public and private mergers and acquisitions as well as domestic and cross-border capital markets transactions of all types including equity, debt, hybrid securities, and structured products. David has substantial experience in corporate restructurings, strategic investments, and the creation and documentation of complex joint venture arrangements in the automotive, technology, mining, and real estate industries. David often partners with clients to function as an outsourced legal department. In his securities practice, David has represented a variety of issuers and underwriters in initial public offerings and listings on the TSX and the TSX Venture Exchange. He has also taught advanced securities regulation at various law schools across Ontario. David has written extensively on a variety of M&A and securities law topics.
