Abbasali Kermalli is a Partner in our Business Law Group, where his practice focuses on commercial transactions, particularly mergers and acquisitions, as well as commercial financing, corporate governance, and everyday corporate matters. Ali’s business background and education have helped to make him a trusted advisor and go-to authority on resolving business issues. Clients appreciate Ali’s practical and applicable solutions and feel he is truly invested in their success. He has been counsel to companies in high profile transactions and he has been featured in Lexpert magazine’s “Big Deals” and the National Post for his work. Prior to joining the firm, Ali was a senior in-house counsel and strategic legal advisor for two international organizations, as well as with major Bay Street law firms, advising on matters that include complex mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, and IPOs.
