Julie Robinson is a Partner in our Halifax office, with a practice focused on Canadian and cross-border corporate finance and securities as well as mergers and acquisitions. Julie acts for companies in relation to public and private securities offerings, stock exchange listings, reverse take-overs, plans of arrangement and other merger and acquisition transactions. She advises public companies on securities regulatory compliance matters, including continuous disclosure obligations, mining disclosure standards and stock exchange rules, as well as corporate governance issues. She also works extensively with startups, technology companies and investors on venture capital and other private financings, merger and acquisition transactions and commercial agreements. Julie has been recognized by Best Lawyers™ in Canada for her practice in Corporate Law and Mergers & Acquisitions Law. She is also featured in the Canadian Legal Lexpert® Directory for her practice in Corporate Finance & Securities. Julie serves as a director of Easter Seals Nova Scotia and is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Canadian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (CVCA) Model Documents Working Group.
