David Gilham has over 15 years experience of advising financiers and borrowers in relation to a wide range of syndicated and bilateral finance transactions including real estate and development financings, leveraged and acquisition financings, general corporate lending and debt restructurings. David regularly acts for a broad range of participants in financing transactions. His clients include international banks, the major Australian banks, a number of regional banks, mezzanine and junior financiers and large corporate borrowers, developers and property funds. His work includes advising clients about structuring of transactions, drafting, negotiating and settling terms of finance documents (including complex intercreditor and priority arrangements and tripartite agreements), advising in relation to security issues (including in connection with the PPSA) and managing the efficient progress and successful completion of a wide range of transactions across a broad range of industry groups. David has spent time on secondment to the London office of a major European bank and with the in-house legal teams of Australia and New Zealand Banking Group and National Australia Bank.
