Lisa Stewart is a partner of the firm. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia in 2001 and received her LL.B. from the University of British Columbia in 2006. Prior to joining the firm, Lisa articled and practiced in the securities group of a national firm. Lisa practices securities and corporate law. Her practice includes advising public and private companies on a broad range of matters, including general corporate matters, public offerings, private placements, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, continuous disclosure requirements and other regulatory requirements. She also has experience acting for private equity and other investment funds. Lisa is recognized as a leading practitioner in the 11th Edition (2017) of Best Lawyers in Canada in the practice area of securities law. She was admitted to the Law Society of British Columbia in 2007 and joined the firm in 2008. She is a member of the Securities Law and Business Law subsections of the Canadian Bar Association and the Access Pro Bono Society of BC.
