Paul assists clients with mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, financing, intergenerational transfers, joint ventures, limited partnerships and general partnerships, reorganizations, shareholder agreements and other commercial contracts and agreements. He has a firm grasp on the sophisticated matters and transactions his clients are involved in and has the experience to both challenge and guide them through their decision-making process. He continues to earn his reputation as a valuable and trusted advisor by taking a personal interest in all his clients, quickly understanding complicated and time-sensitive matters, understanding the tax, regulatory and other implications involved, and recommending strategic courses of action that enable his clients to get the results they expect. As testament to Paul's diligence and service to clients, most of the firm’s client relationships originate from referrals. In addition to corporate matters, Paul has extensive expertise in residential, commercial and industrial land development including in-depth experience in all aspects of both freehold and condominium land development, the negotiation of sophisticated servicing cost sharing agreements, cross-border agreements, DC credit for service and refund agreements, zoning, bonusing, front ending, municipal responsibility, development, site plan and subdivision agreements, reciprocal operating and rights agreements, licenses, and other arrangements among land owners, condominiums, municipalities and other authorities.
