I am the firm’s Joint Senior Partner, having joined Marriott Harrison as a partner in 2004. I have practised company and corporate finance law since qualifying in the City in 1994. I advise directors, investors, public and private companies, financial advisers and intermediaries on their corporate matters. I have considerable experience of equity financings, corporate restructurings, M&A, stock market admissions (including AIM and the Main Market), corporate governance and City Code, Listing and Prospectus Rules and financial services matters in respect of company fundraisings. I have particular expertise on the duties and liabilities of company directors, and on shareholders’ rights and am frequently called on to advise in challenging corporate situations which require legal and practical solutions. I am part of the Marriott Harrison team which manages our relations with overseas lawyers and contribute to know how within our international network. Having also been a corporate finance adviser with Numis Securities Limited and having served as a director of several companies (private and public), I bring an experienced commercial and financial approach to clients’ matters and my input is often sought by clients on their commercial arrangements and growth plans. I like seeing clients grow and achieve their objectives – and being part of the team which makes that happen.
