Benedetto Colosimo joined Ughi e Nunziante in 2008 after a few years of activity in leading Italian firms where he gained experience both in the judicial and extrajudicial fields, in particular in the corporate and contractual fields. Its main areas of activity are banking and finance, M&A, private equity, capital market, corporate law and litigation. Benedetto assists multinational companies, both in the banking-financial and industrial sectors, and has consolidated considerable experience in international contracts, in the acquisition of shareholdings, in corporate financing and in structured finance transactions, also providing legal support on an ongoing basis to foreign companies that operate in Italy on regulated markets. As part of his professional activity, Benedetto has held positions within companies and investment funds operating, in particular, in the real estate sector. After graduating from the LUISS Guido Carli University of Rome in 2002, Benedetto obtained his qualification in 2006 and a PhD in European Private Law at the University of Florence in 2008. After having assisted in the private law professorships of the University of Florence, Benedetto regularly lectures in masters organized by the main universities in the fields of corporate law, banking law and international contracts. He is the author of numerous articles in both Italian and international specialized journals. He is fluent in Italian and English.
