Piergiorgio’s primary areas of practice are banking, finance and commercial law, with a specific focus on collective asset management and extraordinary transactions. In over a decade of practising, he has extensive experience in the asset management and post trading industry, as well as in the management of complex corporate transactions. Before founding LegisLAB, he was for many years an in-house lawyer at BNP Paribas Securities Services in Milan and a partner in leading Italian law firms. He is a professor of Comparative Commercial Law at the University of Milan. He holds an Executive Master’s Degree in Corporate Finance & Banking from SDA Bocconi and a PhD in Comparative Law from the University of Milan. He has completed courses in Alternative Dispute Resolution at Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota, and the ADR Centre in Rome.
