Bio

Goncalo Capela Godinho is a partner in Corporate and M&A at Lefosse. His activities are focused on mergers and acquisitions mostly on infrastructure, energy and utilities. Gonçalo’s clients include market-leading companies, private equity sponsors, infrastructure funds and investment banks in cross-border acquisitions. Prior to joining Lefosse, he worked at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett’s London and New York offices. He is qualified to practice law in Brazil and Portugal. Gonçalo graduated in Law from the Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Lisboa and obtained his LL.M. at Duke University School of Law. He is fluent in Portuguese and English.
