Bio

Bernd Hauck is a fully qualified Attorney at Law for Switzerland and Germany. Thanks to his double qualification he focuses on advising clients from abroad (especially from Germany), that are interested in doing business in or would like to transfer their business to Switzerland. He specialises in construction contracts (SIA-Norm 118), the law of the architects and engineers (SIA-Ordnung 102 and 103), trade law (including terms and conditions), employment law (including posting of workers) and public procurement. Bernd Hauck gives lectures on these topics at several chambers of craft in Germany and at other institutions. Furthermore, he conducts trainings for companies that want to improve their employees’ skills. Bernd Hauck is a member of the Kellerhals Carrard Litigation and Arbitration team and has extensive experience in this sector. Bernd Hauck is an active member of the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA) and he has an excellent international network. Since 2005 he is an assistant lecturer at the law faculty in Basel.
