Jerry Galvan practice focuses on representing entrepreneurs, companies, private equity firms and venture capital firms in debt and equity financings, acquisitions and sales, corporate formations, general corporate and securities matters, commercial transactions and licensing matters. Jerry began his career as a corporate attorney in the Austin, Texas office of Vinson & Elkins, LLP. Jerry graduated with High Honors from the University of Texas School of Law where he was a member of the Texas Law Review and recipient of the Dean’s Achievement Award. Jerry was also elected to the Order of the Coif upon graduation. As a student in the Business Honors Program, Jerry received a B.B.A. with honors from the University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business with an emphasis on Management Information Systems. Prior to becoming an attorney, Jerry worked as Manager of Professional Services at Sungard Energy Systems where he directed project teams and developed code for energy trading software programs.
