Bio

Jason Vernik is an experienced property lawyer who advises in all areas of property law, with an emphasis on complex projects and transactions. He is known for his strong, hands-on involvement in matters and for being able to ‘get the deal done’. Jason has recently acted for listed and unlisted companies, private equity firms, financiers, government agencies and universities on high profile deals throughout Australia. He advises on property acquisitions and disposals, property development, leasing, taxation aspects of property and due diligence investigations. Jason advises on stand-alone property transactions and as part of larger projects and business acquisitions, disposals and restructures. He was previously recognised by Doyle’s Guide as a National Rising Star in property and has been a member of the Property Council of Australia’s taxation committee (SA).
