Wan Yang earned her degree of LL.M. from University of International Business and Economics (UIBE). Ms. WAN Yang has been a partner of Jingtian & Gongcheng since 2017. Her practice focuses on cross-border M&A, private equity & venture capital, merger control filing and antitrust compliance. She was recognized as one of the “30 UNDER 30” by LEGALBAND. Ms. WAN has substantial experience and well-established reputation in the practice of cross-border M&A and private equity & venture capital. In her years of practice, she has routinely advised clients, including prestigious institutional investors, public companies and leading target companies, in their transactions, covering deal structures devising, due diligence, business negotiations, transactional documents drafting, closing, legal opinions issuance, etc. She is well-versed in identifying business and legal risks, and then delivering concrete and effective solutions. She has extensive experience across a range of industry sectors, including TMT, pharmaceutical & healthcare, financial services, education, manufacturing, international trade, etc., advising a number of renowned companies, including SEEDLAND, DCH (Dah Chong Hong), WINTOP, JOYY, Pingan FinTech, Manulife-Sinochem, CMB (China Merchant Bank) International Capital, China Transinfo, Tus-Financial Group, Tong Ren Tang, etc. Ms. WAN also specializes in competition and antitrust laws, and has advised clients in many competition/antitrust cases, including merger control clearance, antitrust investigations and compliance, and in particular, complicated cases such as platform economy filings, global filings, minority shareholder’s filings, etc. These cases cover various sectors, including TMT, real estate, pharmaceutical, automobile retail, high technology, manufacturing, etc. Ms. WAN has obtained the PRC lawyer's license. She is a native mandarin speaker with English fluency.
