Partner
and access,
Collin Baker’s practice focuses on the representation of foreign and domestic institutional investors with respect to their alternative assets investments including in the review and negotiation of limited partnership agreements and subscription agreements and drafting side letters. Such alternative assets investments include private equity funds, venture capital funds, real estate funds, energy funds and separate managed accounts. Collin particularly enjoys energy fund investments due to his experience representing private and public companies in the acquisition and divestiture of oil and gas properties, as well as their general oil and gas contracts, including oil and gas leases, joint operating agreements, unit operating agreements and processing agreements. Collin also represents a diverse group of private companies and wealthy individuals in a broad array of general corporate matters including entity structuring and formation, offerings of debt and equity securities, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures and executive compensation. Further, Collin often serves as the outside general counsel for operating companies by providing advice on employment agreements, non-disclosure agreements, consulting and service agreements as well as other commercial agreements.
