Peter Istrup has comprehensive experience as a commercial law adviser both as an attorney and as an in-house lawyer. During more than 10 years’ experience from Arla Foods and Mærsk, Peter has prepared, negotiated and worked with a large number of complex contracts and various compliance tasks, both nationally and internationally. In addition to his wide experience within general commercial law, Peter has comprehensive litigation experience from both Denmark and abroad. Peter has a Ph.D. in smart contracts and blockchain from the perspective of contract law and for a number of years he has served on the panel of judges at the Danish Legal Tech Awards. In addition, he has been working in the interface between law and technology in connection with various compliance and managerial tasks. In his advice, Peter has special focus on the usefulness and value-adding function of technology for his clients. Peter also has experience from various forms of board work.
