Bio

Jeffrey M. Gallant is a partner in our Corporate and Securities Department, having joined us upon graduation from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 1999. He is experienced in general corporate and securities law matters, and has represented both public and private companies in connection with mergers and acquisitions, public and private offerings of securities, venture capital investments, and all aspects of their general corporate legal requirements. Jeff also specializes in Special Purpose Acquisition Companies (SPACs) and similar vehicles. He has represented approximately 50 SPAC issuers that raised more than $5 billion of gross proceeds and also represented numerous underwriters in underwriting offerings for SPACs. He also has represented approximately 20 SPACs or targets in the business combination phase.
