Charles is a corporate finance partner with 25 years of experience. He works in the London office and leads the UK firm's Natural Resources Group as well as the UK firm's Equity Capital Markets team. He practises in equity capital markets and public and private mergers and acquisitions for clients in a variety of sectors. In particular he often advises clients with assets in developed and emerging markets, including Africa, China, Australia, Canada, India, South America, the UK, Russia and the CIS. He actively assists clients in developing their business using his wide international network of contacts in the sector. Charles spent ten years, including one in Asia, as a corporate lawyer with a magic circle firm working for a diverse range of public and private corporates, before heading a leading equity capital markets and M&A team in the resources sector for eleven years, including four years at Gowlings, the Canadian international law firm prior to its combination with Wragge Lawrence Graham.
