Benoit M. Duchesne is a fully bilingual (French and English) and bijural partner in Gowling WLG's Ottawa office. Benoit practises primarily in civil and commercial litigation, administrative law litigation, bankruptcy and insolvency litigation, and insurance defence litigation in Ontario and Québec, in addition to mediation and arbitration services. As a litigator with broad interests, Benoit’s practice includes representing clients in subject areas ranging from construction law, estate law, insurance law, intellectual property law, consumer protection law and real estate litigation, to shareholder litigation, injunctions, oppression applications, not-for-profit litigation and international private law litigation. Benoit is also a member of the firm's Expropriation Law Group and Municipal Law Group.
